Albany’s newest co-working space plays key role in financial leader’s regional expansion

CapCity CoWorks, downtown Albany’s newest coworking space, has officially signed JPMorgan Chase as the building’s first member tenant. The global financial services firm will be utilizing a portion of CapCity CoWorks’ 30 offices and flexible coworking space, all located on the 18th floor at 11 North Pearl Street.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is a leader in investment banking, financial services for consumers and small businesses, commercial banking, financial transaction processing and asset management, and serves millions of customers in the United States and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under its J.P. Morgan and Chase brands.

As JPMorgan Chase continues is market expansion into the Albany market, the firm has chosen CapCity CoWorks as its base of operations for related training sessions. It is expected that the firm will have as many as 30 new employees stationed at CapCity CoWorks, where they will receive training in their respective areas of business.

CapCity CoWorks’ proximity to Albany’s government offices and transportation services were among its selling points. The space has been designed to foster creativity and positive energy, to cater to members from varying industries and skill sets, with a floor plan and appointments that create the perfect environment for networking. Amenities include custom beverage services, charging stations, print centers, three phone booths for private calls, meeting lounges and a television. The building also offers panoramic views of downtown and the Hudson River, and its historic Art-Deco flair has been well-maintained. Rates for a private single-desk office at CapCity CoWorks start at $450 a month, while larger spaces with four desks start at $375 per desk. Rates and pricing are flexible based on the tenant’s needs.
